Overview
Welcome to the new Nedbank Namibia website – a new name for the bank with a 31-year pedigree in our country.
On 27 October 2004, Commercial Bank of Namibia officially changed its name to Nedbank Namibia, reflecting the identity of our major shareholder, Nedbank Limited.
Our name is new, but our passion for service and offering value remain unchanged and will improve even further as we introduce exciting new products and services and extend our branch network. We are now part of a banking group than spans southern Africa and we are focused on becoming one of the top-rated groups in the region.
With our roots in Namibia going back to 1973 when we launched as Swabank, we are now even more committed to building a bigger, better bank for the good of all Namibians.
