Diamond Plan Notice Deposit Account
The “hands-off” account where you can leave your money to grow until you need it.
This is a high-interest notice deposit account. You can deposit as little as N$2 000 in the Diamond Plan and select the notice period to suit your objectives – 32, 60 or 88 days.
If you’re seriously trying to save, but keep finding good reasons to withdraw and spend your savings, then the Diamond Plan account is your rewarding solution.

By selecting the notice period that suits you, you put your money out of temporary reach and enjoy a high interest rate. So it pays you handsomely to put your money out of temptation’s way – and leave it there for as long as you can.
A Diamond Plan account offers you several attractive options – none of which includes random and unplanned withdrawals in moments of financial weakness.
- You can deposit as little as N$2 000 in the Diamond Plan, selecting a notice period of 32, 60 or 88 days
- Interest rates are protected for your full notice period – but only from falling. If interest rates decrease, your rate will stay the same for the full notice period. But if interest rates rise, Nedbank Namibia will pay you the higher rate immediately
- You can deposit additional funds of N$200 or more into your Diamond Plan when you wish
- You can choose to have your interest paid out directly to you, or to have it reinvested. That way, you earn interest on your interest
Should you need your capital for something special in a few months – for a holiday, furniture for a new home, educational fees – you can’t do better than deposit it in a Diamond Plan account.
